great exercise on a budget!

i bought this since there’s no way i’m going to my gym and breathing heavy with masks on. i have a heart problem where my heart basically races 24/7 and works overtime for no reason so i really have to be able to breathe normally when i exercise. i figured my only hope now is just exercising at home, which is something i’ve been avoiding like the plague because i have the least amount of motivation at home. figured this would kickstart some inspiration for me to get my daily exercise in, and it totally did! i assembled this with help,- actually, to be fair, someone else assembled this and i helped haha. we made sure everything was tightened very well. we used the instructions and we used the tools provided with the exception of our own wrench. it didn’t take long to put together. i’ve used it for a week now and it works so smoothly. the resistance adjustability is a great touch to have, as well as the monitor for your stats. i always use this for 45 minutes or more and i always burn hundreds of calories and it’s great because i’m doing it in the comfort of my room. there isn’t any noise coming from my bike, it’s very quiet. no noises at all actually. it is stable and the perfect size for me. i saw someone mention in the reviews that this isn’t for tall people, and i think it could be, as long as you’re not close to 6 foot but don’t quote me on it. i only think it could be because the seat is adjustable. i don’t know how high it actually goes, since i’m only 4’11 and have my seat all the way down. but short people- this bike is perfect size! i don’t have any trouble reaching my feet to the pedals. i can sit all the way back and still cycle. the only thing that is mildly irritating is the side handles next to the seat make it annoying to get on the bike, because they’re kind of in the way when i try to get on. like i mentioned, i’m short so i have to fit myself in between the long upright part and the seat and there isn’t much room there to fit between to hop on. i can’t just put my leg over the seat and get on that way, because it’s all too high! that’s the only thing. but i don’t have a difficult time with it, like i said it’s just a bit annoying. anyway when it folds up it doesn’t take up too much space, it would fit in a roomy closet or can go in a corner of a spare room without taking up much space. this bike is all around thumbs up for me and i truly do recommend it.

Not bad for the price

I bought this bike to workout at home while pregnant and postpartum.I needed something inexpensive because with a baby on the way I needed to stay active for my mental health but not spend a lot.I like the back support that comes with this bike and the bars up front and sides of the bike so i can place my hands in different areas. I can easily watch a show and zone out while burning calories. Plus it is easy to set up and store as i live in a 1 bedroom apartment this is a major plus. Now the things i do not care for, it is a little difficult to get on and off the bike.I have a small stool i use in the kitchen that i place beside the bike to get on and off.I am a 5’1 woman about 115 lbs before pregnancy. So i am use to being short for most things but it still feeling kinda wobbly and scary getting on and off. I feel like thats kinda dumb for someone who doesn’t weigh near the amount of the bikes weight limit. So just be aware.Secondly yes the other reviews are correct. My butt is not that big and this seat is not very comfortable. You will feel it the next day like your crotch is sore. Putting a pillow down or behind does not help because the seat is too small to even accommodate a small pillow being there too. Also, the left wheel will click in different ways.I don’t really care about the noise as i can drown it out with the tv or a fan. But i can feel it under my foot and it is distracting. All in all I didn’t expect gym grade or anything for what i paid. But all of the problems combined is a bit annoying. I would have bought a less expensive treadmill from academy sports (which i have in the past) that works better and burns more calories. The only reason I didn’t was because i do not have the space in my apartment. It hasn’t broken down on me yet or anything but i have only used it 3 times for less then an hour each time and can tell you these issues. So just be cautious when buying. If these things you can live with for the price, go for it.If not, keep looking.

Silent, easy to assemble, great option for small spaces/apartments

I’m 5ft1 so keep that in mind, I’ve got short legs. I put this bike together in about 20 minutes, and barely glanced at the instructions more than once. I read others used a YouTube tutorial but I didn’t bother. I looked over the diagram afterwards to make sure I didn’t miss anything, and it was perfect. This thing is ridiculously quiet, I’ve owned this same exact model before (just left it for my brother when I moved out of our shared apartment) and this one was, well, the exact same. I put a lot of miles on the old one I had, and it stood the test of time. Hence, deciding to get the same one a second time. The only difference is that now I am pregnant& much heavier than I was before. Before, the seat was perfectly comfortable for very long periods of time. Hours, even. But I could only put 20 minutes on this thing before I really needed to get off and give my behind a rest 🥲 I did the poke test on the cushion& it really is soft& cushy, but it’s my weight that’s hurting my tushy 🤣 I anticipate after a few days of using the bike, I’ll feel more comfortable, and definitely after losing some weight after baby comes soon. I’m still well under the weight limit, but my body is NOT AT ALL used to the weight that’s now added to my frame just in the past few months, so I’m 99% certain that’s the only reason the seat is not comfortable for me. If you’re new to cycling, or you’ve recently added padding to your middle, you might find the same discomfort. But honestly I wouldn’t make that my breaking point. There’s really highly rated cushions on amazon& if you’re looking for a quiet, affordable, small bike, this is going to be the one. Just add a seat cushion to your cart if you think you’ll benefit (~$20 or less) & buy it.Overall, the silence& compactness of the bike are the selling points for me at this price point. It’s gonna get cold soon, plus I’m pregnant like I said so I need low-impact, accessible, safe exercise options. Sometimes I’m up before dawn and want to workout. My NOISY AS HECK treadmill will wake up not only my husband, but everyone in the apartment below us too 😅 BUT… this bike will NOT wake up even someone in the same room, guaranteed. That’s a bit deal for me& will be appreciated once baby is here too. I also set up my adjustable-height desk to go over my handlebars so I can easily work on my laptop. I can thank the small size of the bike for that. I read other reviews that said if you have long legs, then pass on this bike, but I wouldn’t know anything about that. I’ll also say that if you’re shorter than 5ft1, it MIGHT be kinda hard to use. Cuz I’m really feeling like I’m at the lowest comfortable height limit even tho it says 4ft10.Anyway, for $130 it’s really a great option if you’re looking for quiet, compact, ease of assembly, good for shorter/smaller people. I really am glad to have this bike again.

Great bike

I love this. I'm 70 with knee pains etc and I've owned many high quality bike that does this or that and to be honest not happy with them. I just need basic to keep my body in shape. This thing is perfect and great. Hardly makes a sound. Very smooth pedaling and it has 8 resistances. It has a heart rate in handles.I just love it. I do so far 7 miles a day. I could do more but zi do other machines and I wanna get my legs knees used to it. It doesn't cause me any pain and actually since I started using ut my sciatica has disappeared. I had a knee injury and it hardly hurts at all and I can bend it and walk up and down stairs again and do my walking miles with the pup.Only con which is fine is I have to tip it alittle to get my leg over because center area alittle high for me but it is still doable and I wouldn't trade it. My wife has the ez step bike and I like this one better. For the price it's a great bike b and very easy to put together
